Description: The Rolls-Royce of fragrances! The world´s most legendary perfume and one of the best selling perfumes worldwide. Worn by many celebrities, among them Marilyn Monroe, who stated that the only thing she wore at night was "five drops of N°5".

It is said that Beaux presented Chanel a serie of fragrances to choose from. Chanel chose perfume sample number five, hence the name. N°5 is not only the first fragrance in the floral aldehyde group, it is also the first by the quantity of aldehydes in its composition. While N°5 was created, an assistand of Beaux, accidently overdosed the amount of aldehydes in the formula. This overdose added sparkle to the perfume which made it so special. Its powdery floral aldehyde composition is very complex yet well balanced.

Chanel N°5 opens with sparkling notes of Ylang Ylang, Bergamot, Lemon, Neroli and Aldehydes. The floral heart reveals Jasmine, Lily-of-the-Valley, Mayrose and Orris. The drydown unfolds into a base of Vetiver, Sandalwood, Vanilla and Amber. A timeless classic, sexy and feminine fragrance for elegant women and true perfumistas.
